Weekly Photo Challenge: Inspiration

This week’s challenge was “inspiration.”  It’s hard to define what inspires you, but I always enjoy nature and it gives me new ideas and subjects constantly.

Laundry on the Line

Inspired by the clothespins I photographed in the numbers challenge, I took a few shots of the colorful laundry.

Spring Leaves

I must admit, I really like taking photos of leaves and trees. The lighting is important an important factor in such photos; harsh late afternoon light can be good to bring out detail and  backlighting can really bring out the color. I love the texture and detail of something small that we often overlook.
