Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie

This week’s photo challenge was “eerie.” I’m not sure if these quite fit, but they were as close as I could get.

An Uphill Climb

This one is from about a week ago, but I haven’t taken anything I really like for a few days, so I decided I’d post this.

Snowed In

Well, we survived the blizzard, but we sure won’t be going anywhere today. Even if we could get the car out, the road hasn’t been touched by a plow and it’s covered with about a foot of snow (and that’s where it hasn’t drifted).  The trusty tractor is even stuck.  There are definitely drifts of 4 – 5 feet deep.  I had to walk really carefully to take these photos; the snow kept trying to go over my boots.

The buried car.

This is the road. You can see it going off in the distance and I was standing in it when I took this.

The high winds sculpted some pretty patterns in the snow.

This was one of the smaller drifts, maybe 3 feet deep.
