Little Sebright Hen

This is one of our bantam golden sebright hens.  She’s living the charmed life of a pet chicken, laying a few eggs and getting to live to a ripe old age. She seemed curious about the camera, standing on the roost watching me.  I think she mostly just wanted to know when I was going to give her a snack.  From the angle I was at, her head is almost completely hidden in her feathers as she cleans them in the second shot.

  1. Beautiful pictures-The little Seabright Hen’s eye is sharp and clear. Perfect series for B&W. Chickens and their unique to them personalities. I love them.

  2. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
