Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny

The theme for the WordPress photo challenge this week is “tiny.” I like macro photography, so this was a fun one. I wasn’t going to do all nature shots, but I liked these and it seemed weird to throw anything else in with them. I don’t have an actual macro lens, so most of these were shot with my 50mm f/1.8 and a cheap macro filter.

  1. Nice composition on the butterfly one.

  2. Great collection and composition.

  3. The Hummingbird takes the cake!

  4. Thanks for the kind comments! I actually got the shot of the hummingbird just as he was being dive-bombed by a couple of barn swallows, which made him fan out his tail and go into fight mode. It was quite the lucky shot.

  5. Great collection. Very nicely done!
