Weekly Photo Challenge: One

The theme for this week’s photo challenge is “one.” The first the I thought of was the number 1, a little bit literal, I know. But I thought it might be interesting to find and take some pictures of the “1”s around the house. So I searched a bit and then made a collage. I also looked for some objects that stood out as one lone item.

A collage of "1"s I found around the house

Nikon D90 w/ Nikon 18-200@ 50mm, f/4.8, 1/1600s, ISO 160

The one lone oak leaf  still hanging on from last fall

Nikon D90 w/ Nikon 18-200 @ 200mm, f/5.6, 1/800s, ISO 200

This dandelion had many friends, but it was abnormally tall and stood out from the grass

Nikon D90 w/ Nikon 50mm f/1.8 @ f/4, 1/1000s, ISO 250

Our one asparagus stalk – it’s been too cold and wet for any more to come up
