Fluffy, Fuzzy, Feathered Friday

These little guys sure are cute. I’m trying not to get too attached though, because their names are Nugget, Stewpot, BBQ, and Dinner. 50 little roosters to make into tasty food. We decided not to go with the super-quick-growing and pathetic looking Cornish Crosses this year. They’re just eating machines that aren’t very hardy or healthy. So this year we got Delawares. So far they are doing well.

Woodpile

I like the way the growth rings and texture of the wood really show up in black and white.

Rainy Day Landscapes

I finally made it outside after it quit raining yesterday. The clouds were still hanging low and threatening more showers, but thankfully it stayed dry while I was out. The rain has made everything really green and you can tell that spring is here for good (although a little warmer temperatures would be nice).
