Cat + Orchid = Death ?
I’m not venturing outside today, so here are some indoor shots. First up, our beautiful new orchid. It looks so happy and healthy, that naturally the first thing I said when we received it was “we’re going to kill it.” But I was informed our other orchids haven’t died yet, they just won’t bloom. So we’ll see.
Next up, our cat. He is quite a character. He leaps up walls, he can turn on lights, he’s terrified of balloons, and he apparently likes to sit inside of upside down stools. I’m not surprised. One problem with these two pictures… the cat eats plants. I can’t count the number he’s damaged/killed. And our orchid is currently living on the table, not locked in the room with the rest of our plants. Some of us feel this is a disaster in the making, but I’m told we’ll see how it goes… orchids aren’t poisonous to cats, but cats may be deadly to orchids.
