Sun Framed by Trees During a Snowstorm

While it was snowing, I was heading down to check the mail when I saw the opportunity for this shot.  The sun was pretty much under the clouds, and it looked a lot like the moon, which was pretty neat.  I also discovered I could get it nicely framed between two tree branches.  I used spot metering to expose for the sun, and these were the result.  The second one is straight out of the camera, except for a little cropping, which is unusual for me (I usually have to adjust exposure at least a little).  I’m glad I braved the snow storm!
